Concept Artist on

Design note
I had the privilege of contributing to the preproduction phase of the series, focusing primarily on character design and concept art for various characters. Created by Sharad Devarajan, Jeevan J. Kang, and Charuvi Agrawal in collaboration with Graphic India, it emerged as one of the most streamed animated shows on Disney+ Hotstar during that year, now known as JioHotstar.

Ravana’s Sister - Sūrpanakhā
Her character was a joy to bring to life. Staying faithful to the original vision, her episodes delved into her desire for retribution and mastery over the forest, positioning her as a crucial character in the storyline.

Ravana's Son - Indrajeet
Meghanada, often referred to as Indrajeet, meaning 'conqueror of Indra', was the crown prince of Lanka who achieved the conquest of Indraloka. I contributed to early explorations and in-depth character design for him. Although the final design varied, here are some visuals from the show.

While Surpanakha & Indrajeet were some of my favorite characters to work on, below are a few others I helped create.
Jambavanta - King of Bears
As the narrator of the story, Jambavanta plays a pivotal role in guiding the Vanaras in their quest to find Princess Sita. Known as the King of Bears, he is a staunch advocate of Dharma & helps Hanuman realize his true potential && purpose.

Trijata
In the Ramayana, Trijata is depicted as a wise old rakshasi who dreams of Ravana's downfall and the triumph of Sita's husband, who wages war against Ravana to rescue her.

Ravana's Wiser Brother - Vibhishan
Prince Vibhishana is portrayed as a pious and pure of heart in the epic. After performing a penance to invoke a boon from Brahma, he begged the deity to always set his mind on the path to righteousness, and nothing more.

Surasa
Surasa also Siras, who is described as the mother of the nagas (serpents). She is tasked to test the god Hanuman on his way to Lanka.
